A Universal Message...

I don't care what party you associate yourself with, if you are not disgusted, shocked, appauled and angry at what is going on in the Gulf of Mexico...it is my personal belief that you have no heart, soul or brain and probably do not deserve to live anymore. I may be accused of being harsh but that's the reality. The spill is the larger than Exxon Valdez and is getting to the point that its beginning to rank globally.

Our anger should be further inflamed by two things that happened yesterday. First, BP's CEO Tony Hayward was on Capitol Hill, "answering" (more like evading) questions from angry Representatives. I watched the entire thing, and I heard the same old story we hear from most if not all of Corporate America. "We're sorry, we're changing things, and it'll never happen again".

BULLSHIT! BP said that after the 2005 Texas City Refinery Explosion and now this happened. During the hearing Hayward was grilled for the fact that during his tenure as CEO, BP incurred over 700 safety violations  from OSHA, most of them of the highest severity. Until these regulators stop sucking up to the companies they regulate and corporations admit their faults and do everything in their power to solve whatever mess they created, these things will continue to happen, and the rhetoric, like the oil, will continue to flow.

Aside from Hayward, Republican Representative Barton's comments about a shakedown of BP are disgusting and typical of the extreme fringe of what the DNC now calls the "Grand Oil Party". Barton should respect the calls on both sides of the aisle to resign. He issued an apology, but the deed is done, he cannot take those words back. His attitude is an example of where we are, how we got there and where we do not want to go.

This should be considered a crime against humanity and BP should pay dearly for it. They operate hundreds of wells in the Gulf, one of the world's most  sensitive wetland regions and no one has the ability or the right to say that this event couldn't happen again in the Gulf, or the world for that matter.

I finally caved in...

Ok, I had to see this so I finally caved in to societal pressures and finally revealed that I have a Twitter account. Shocking I know, but now you can "follow" me (when I update it) at

I FAIL, I KNOW (don't say anything..., I'll hunt you down and make you eat those words!)
